Here is my two cents, it may be worth less. :-) I understand what you say when you say that God left you high and dry. But he never does. He may not answer your prayers as quickly as you want them to be answered - or even answer them at all. But there is a purpose for that. If something doesn't work out the way you think it should, I've found that it means He has something better in store for you. Life doesn't work out the way we want it to when it doesn't fall in line with his plan for us. That being said, I can totally relate to feeling alone in a crowd. Perhaps you could find a new church/group to check out? Maybe it's just not a right fit for you. With all that being said, I'm putting out the offer to talk again - whenever you need an ear.
